# Watch Vault Tracker > Watch Vault Tracker is a free iPhone app, in development, that records which watch a collector wears. Open it, tap the photograph of the watch on your wrist, and the watch, the date and the time are kept. Coming Winter 2027. Published by Aveneg Technologies, LLC. Status: in development. Not yet available; nothing to download. Platform: iPhone only. Price: free for watch collectors. Every feature is free. No subscription, no advertising, no trial. Optional tips are processed by Apple and unlock nothing. ## What it does - Today: the collection as photographs, two to a row by default (one or three by choice). Pinned watches come first, then the most worn over the last 90 days; a watch is pinned by pressing and holding its photograph, or from its page's menu. One tap records the watch being worn. A forgotten day can be added later, with the part of the day if the owner gives one. - Without opening the app: the Home Screen menu (press and hold the app's icon) and an optional daily reminder each offer the three most recently worn watches and, fourth, the one longest unworn ("Not worn since June 16"), so a wear can be recorded from there. - History: each day, one line per watch, with Morning, Afternoon, Evening or All day. A tap records one moment; the app takes the watch to be on until another is recorded or the day ends, and the record says which parts were assumed. - Insights: counts for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, this year, each earlier calendar year the records reach, or all time: most worn, the split across the day, wears each month, and watches not recorded in the last 60 days. - Collection: every watch: first those on Today, then those hidden from Today, then those no longer in the collection. The order is the owner's: it starts A to Z and can be rearranged, and it never changes Today's order. Add a watch with a photograph, its maker and model, and a nickname if the owner wants one (the nickname titles the watch's page; lists show maker and model). A watch can be marked Sold, Traded, Gifted / donated, Lost, Stolen or Destroyed / discarded; that takes it off Today and keeps its history. ## Privacy - No account, no server run by the publisher, no analytics, no advertising. Works offline. - Records and photographs are kept on the phone, and the app itself sends nothing anywhere. If the iPhone is backed up to iCloud, Apple's backup includes the app's records, as it does for photographs; the owner can turn that off for the app in iPhone Settings. Photographs are saved without their location. - The only connection the app itself makes is to Apple's App Store, while the tip screen is open. - Export files are not encrypted; the app says so where one is made. - Before each app update and each import, the app keeps a copy of the records (with their photographs) on the iPhone itself, the last two of each, which can be put back from Settings, "Kept on this iPhone". The copies stay on the device, inside the iPhone's own backup like the records. - Not yet settled: a backup file the owner makes that includes photographs. - The website (not the app) uses cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics. ## Questions collectors ask Is there an app to track which watch I wear? Yes. Watch Vault Tracker is a watch wear tracker for iPhone, coming Winter 2027. One tap on a photograph records the watch, date and time. Is it free? Yes. Every feature. Tips are optional and unlock nothing. Is there a subscription or ads? No. Do I need an account? No. Where is my data kept? On the phone. The publisher runs no server for the app, and the app sends nothing anywhere. An iCloud backup of the iPhone, if the owner has it on, includes the app's records. Does it show wrist time and rotation? Insights counts wears per watch and lists watches not recorded in the last 60 days. Can I keep the record of a watch I sold? Yes. Mark it Sold (or Traded, Gifted, Lost, Stolen, Destroyed); it leaves Today and its history is kept. Is it on Android? No. iPhone only. Can I download it now? Not yet. How does it relate to Watch Vault Archive? Archive (https://watchvaultarchive.com/) is the publisher's separate desktop software for documenting what a collector owns. A list of watches can be carried between the two as a file the owner hands over, in either direction: watches only, never wearing records. Neither requires the other, and neither has an account. ## Pages - [Home](https://watchvaulttracker.com/) - [About us](https://watchvaulttracker.com/about) - [Contact](https://watchvaulttracker.com/contact) - [Privacy Policy](https://watchvaulttracker.com/privacy) - [Terms of Service](https://watchvaulttracker.com/terms) Search engines, AI assistants and other crawlers may access, index, quote and summarise this site's public content.
