Coming Winter 2027 Watch Vault Tracker is still in development.

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 14, 2026

The short version: the Watch Vault Tracker app has no account, no server of ours and no analytics, and it sends nothing anywhere; your records are kept on your iPhone. This website sets no cookies and has no accounts or forms. Our host, Cloudflare, counts visits with cookie-free analytics, and we don’t use them to identify you.

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers watchvaulttracker.com, the website you are reading, published by Aveneg Technologies, LLC (“we”, “us”). Section 5 describes the Watch Vault Tracker app as far as it is settled today. The app is not yet available. The policy that governs it will be published on this page, in full, before the app is released, and will describe what the released app does.

2. What this website collects

Very little. The site is a set of static pages: no accounts, no forms, no cookies and no advertising. Nothing on it asks who you are.

Traffic analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how the site is used, in aggregate: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and how quickly pages load. It sets no cookies, does not follow you to other sites, and is not used to identify you or to build a profile of you. It is delivered by a small script from Cloudflare.

Server logs. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, generates standard web server logs as an ordinary part of serving any website (for example, IP address and request time, for security and reliability). We do not use them to identify you.

This applies to the website only. The app carries no analytics of any kind; see section 5.

3. If you email us

If you write to one of the addresses on our Contact page, we receive your email address and whatever you send. We use it only to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list, sell it, or share it with anyone other than the providers that deliver and hold our email.

4. Third parties

This site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which also provides the traffic analytics described above and routes mail sent to our addresses. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy governs its handling of data in those roles. No other third party’s code or content is loaded by this site.

5. The Watch Vault Tracker app

The app is in development. It is being built to these rules, and they describe the app as it stands today:

  • No account. The app does not ask you to sign up or sign in.
  • No server of ours. Your watches, photographs and wearing records are kept on your phone. We receive no copy and cannot see them.
  • Your iPhone’s own backup. Watch Vault Tracker sends nothing anywhere. If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud, Apple’s backup includes the app’s records, as it does for your photographs. That backup is Apple’s, under Apple’s terms, and you can turn it off for this app in your iPhone’s Settings. The app saves your photographs without their location.
  • Copies kept on the iPhone. Before each update of the app, and before each import, the app keeps a copy of your records, with the photographs they name, on the iPhone itself. It keeps the last two of each. They never leave the device except inside the iPhone’s own backup, like the records, and Settings lists them under “Kept on this iPhone”.
  • No analytics and no advertising. The app contains no tracking or advertising code, ours or a third party’s.
  • No connection needed. The app works with the phone offline.

Tips. The app is free, and every feature is free whether you tip or not. It has one screen where a tip can be left. Tips are optional purchases that do not recur, processed by Apple under its own terms and privacy policy. Apple tells us how many tips were made and in which country, never who made them. The app does not record that you tipped, and a tip unlocks nothing.

Connections. Talking to Apple’s store while the tip screen is open is the only connection the app itself makes. One link, on the Support screen in Settings, opens watchvaultarchive.com in your phone’s browser, when you tap it; that is the browser’s connection, not the app’s.

Files you export. The app can export your records as a file, which you can send anywhere through your phone’s share sheet. That is your act, and once a file leaves the app, where it goes is outside the app’s control. Export files are not encrypted, and the app says so on the screen where you make one.

One thing is not settled, and this page does not describe it until it is built: a backup file you make yourself that includes your photographs.

The app will be distributed through Apple’s App Store, which handles downloads and any purchase under its own privacy policy.

6. Children

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page is the version in effect.
